ReStore
What is ReStore?
The ReStore is a resale outlet that obtains new and accepts donated goods (in good condition), which are sold to the general public below retail prices. The proceeds help us fund the construction of Habitat homes within our community.
Why should I donate and buy from the Restore?
Our ReStore provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat’s community improvement work. The ReStore plays a part in replacing substandard housing with safe, decent homes for the families of Madison County. Finally, you benefit from purchasing items at the ReStore because items are of good quality and prices are affordable.

Arts & Sustainability Program
The HFHRV ReStore Arts and Events Program is a vibrant initiative designed to inspire creativity, foster community engagement, and promote sustainability while supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission. This program connects local artists, volunteers, and supporters through events, workshops, and unique opportunities to repurpose items creatively. By hosting activities such as art showcases, school excursions, and interactive workshops, the program educates the community, celebrates artistic talent, and raises funds to help build safe and affordable homes.
Shopping at the HFHRV ReStore is more than a transaction—it’s an opportunity to explore, create, and make a difference. With a diverse selection of donated items, affordable pricing, and a focus on sustainability, each purchase directly supports Habitat’s efforts to provide housing solutions for vulnerable communities. In 2025, the Habitat Art Gallery will open as part of this program, offering a place for local artists to sell their work while contributing to our mission. The gallery will also serve as a hub for workshops, camps, and events that inspire a deeper connection to art, sustainability, and community impact.
