At a time when we are becoming acutely aware of staying home and sheltering in, I am so thankful to be part of a mission that works with our partner families, volunteers and donors, who make affordable homeownership a reality for those in our community who strive for a better life.
May I send a prayer of thanksgiving out to every volunteer, every donor, every Habitat family and every staff member who believes and supports our mission. Whether you donate to us, attend committee meetings, hammer a nail, supply lunch for hungry volunteers, organize a home dedication or shop in or donate to our ReStore, we are grateful this mission has been laid on your hearts and has become the work of your hands.
