Tamica Ellington is probably one of the most pleasant people in the world. Her kind spirit and her quiet intelligence light up every room she walks into. Tamica is a hard working mother of two beautiful children. As a matter of fact Tamica says, “The main purpose I worked so hard to get into the program was and will always be my two children.” Tamica came from public housing and doesn’t want her children to be in that type of environment.

“When the Lord decides to take me away from this world and my children, I want them to always have a safe place to call home.”

It took two years for Tamica to be approved for the program. During those two years, Tamica took care of payday loans and begin to work hard on her credit score. She refused to give up on Habitat and we refused to give up on her. With that, Tamica and her children will never again have to worry about a place to call home.
