It’s March and that means it’s our Birthday Month!
On March 7, 2019, we held a wonderful lunch at Campus 805 to celebrate 32 years in our community. Jessica Leslie, one of our Habitat partner families, shared her Habitat experience with our guests. We were all moved by her story of commitment and hard work in providing a safe home for her family. She is a clear example of how Habitat provides a Hand Up not a Hand Out. Jessica also shared how the seeds she sowed in taking care of an elderly patient, have grown into a new relationship with a Habitat volunteer, who just so happen to be the grandson of her former patient. Some call that coincidence, we call it a blessing.
